Competitive Examination-Basic Criterion

The basic aim of any competitive examination is to eliminate the casual applicants and filter serious applicants.
In the present world of competition where number of aspirants is very large when compared to the available vacancies,identification of suitable candidates is not going to be an easy job.Exactly for that reason whether it is a software job or a managerial job,whether it is through advertisement or through campus selection,almost all the recruiters prefer competitive tests/campus recruitment at the initial stage.
Exact suitability of a candidate for a specific job cannot be finalized without seeing the candidate and without looking at his or her emotional quotient.Even though some organizations test not only I..Q but also the E.Q of the candidates through written tests.

Interview is considered as the best way of testing the suitability for a specific position.
